Description

You will be responsible for preparing and implementing marketing promotional plans. You will evaluate promotional performance and makes changes to meet company goals and objectives. You will work with the Product Management, Sales, and Purchasing teams on product launches and advise of any relevant concerns. You will recommend changes to current promotional plans and procedures based on market research and new trends. You will interface directly with customers.

  • Manage all aspects of promotional channels: national flyer, district sales meetings, and annual tool expo. Responsibilities include: revenue & margin management to target while overseeing frequent product assortment changes that can be driven via a multitude of factors.
  • Create and maintain accurate pricing for all promotional activities.
  • Design and implement reporting dashboards that track key metrics and performance trends and provide actionable insights to marketing leadership.
  • Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, and models to support promotional decision making. Analysis areas might include (but not be limited to): purchase patterns, price elasticity, usage and engagement, and maximizing revenue & margin.
  • Create detailed annual plans for Product Managers across all promotional vehicles including national flyers, district sales meetings and annual tool expo
  • Manage and grow promotional revenue and margin on their app, which allows users to stay connected to their distributors 24/7.
  • Manage LOOT website to relieve excess inventory, meet revenue and margin goals to target, and analysis to make improvements to offers or processes.
  • Work with Marketing/Sales/Suppliers and outside vendors to deliver the marketing experience for Company’s yearly expo.
  • Daily use of VBS and analysis tools to make mix/margin improvements and improvements across the promotional processes.
  • Maintain accurate pricing for all promotional activities. Implement pricing strategies that improve on profit margins based on desired market pricing and internal costs analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data and synthesize to deliver results
  • Direct experience working with large data-sets
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations
  • Strong financial skills
  • History of driving results by managing with vision and purpose
  • Ability to communicate and present critical information to all levels of employees and customers
  • The organizational agility, interpersonal and political savvy skills necessary to gain cooperation of several departments that do not report directly to the position
