Job Description:

We are looking for a senior Corporate Development professional to build out our portfolio inorganically.  


  • Identify, cultivate, perform diligence, value, structure and negotiate deals
  • Act as “deal quarterback” simultaneously advising and driving deal teams of subject matter experts from Corporate and operating companies to complete required work and reach investment recommendations
  • Monitor competitive landscape to identify and prioritize opportunities, including tracking public companies and interacting with investment bankers and other sources of deal opportunities
  • Manage cross-functional due diligence teams with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
  • Present diligence findings and deal recommendations
  • Ensure effective management of post-closing deal terms and hand-off to integration teams

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ year M&A transaction experience at top-tier corporations, PE firm and law firms having led multiple deals all the way from start to and across the finish line
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; top tier MBA or JD strongly preferred
  • Cross-functional experience in accounting/finance, legal, operations, tax of M&A strongly preferred
  • MedTech, Healthcare and/or international transaction experience, and venture investment background considered a plus

  • Be able to work in tactical and strategic realms, addressing commercial, financial risk and legal issues
  • Prioritize effectively in real time, multi-task on several projects and have strong organization skills
  • Have solid understanding of legal deal terms and alternative approaches to risk allocation
  • Participate in spirited give-and-take discussions about his/her work and have a thick skin
  • Be willing and able to travel as required, including on short notice
