Description

Responsible for attaining all store and corporate objectives in sales, service, parts, administration, and operations to meet store location sales and service objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement company’s Core Values of Positive Attitude, Self-Motivated, Innovative, Understand and Deliver Value within the branch
  • Meet / Exceed store level Revenue & Profit goals (Sales/Service/Parts)
  • Set store hours
  • Staff time off requests
  • Safety
  • Communication / Branch Pulse
  • Perform store parts / service / admin employee reviews jointly with division manager
  • Perform store parts / service / admin employee hiring process in conjunction with division
  • manager and HR
  • Perform and lead weekly store meetings
  • Assure that the location is implementing the Corporate directives with the objectives that go with those

Sales

  • Meet / Exceed store level Revenue & Profit goals (Sales/Service/Parts)
  • Develop sales reps (ISR & OSR)
  • Customer relationships
  • Oversee sales process
  • Equipment inventory in conjunction with Complex Equipment Manager
  • Communicate information up to division sales manager when needed and down to ISR and OSR
  • LMA (Lead Management Accountability)
  • Customer issue resolution
  • Perform store ISR & OSR employee reviews with Division Sales Manager
  • Perform store ISR & OSR hiring process in conjunction with Sales Manager and HR
  • Execute to the division sales manager’s objectives

Admin

  • Perform store admin employee reviews jointly with division admin manager
  • Perform store admin hiring process in conjunction with division manager and HR
  • Communicate information up to division admin manager when needed and down to admin in location
  • Help to provide efficiencies with store admin functions
  • Approve time off requests from store admin and communicate information to admin division manager
  • Execute to the admin division manager’s objectives

Parts

  • Meet / Exceed store level Revenue & Profit goals
  • Work with store parts manager and employees to provide solutions for customers
  • Perform store parts employees reviews jointly with parts division manager
  • Perform store parts hiring process in jointly with parts division manager and HR
  • Communicate information up to division parts manager when needed and down to parts employees in location
  • Approve time off requests from store parts manager and communicate to parts division manager.
  • Store parts manager will approve those reporting to the position.
  • Execute to the parts division manager’s objectives
  • Set the tone for day-to-day urgency or situational urgency Service – when you are sitting in that seat
  • Meet / Exceed store level Revenue & Profit goals for service
  • Work with service manager and service employees to provide solutions for customers
  • Perform store service reviews jointly with store service manager
  • Perform store service hiring process jointly with service manager location and complex service manager and HR
  • Communicate information up to complex service manager when needed and down to location service employees
  • Approve location time off request for store service manager with communication to location service manager and store service manager will approve those reporting to that position.
  • Execute to the division service manager’s objectives
  • Set the tone for day-to-day urgency or situational urgency and help set and prioritize job with the location service manager.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to profitably manage all aspects of a business location
  • Able to implement a positive location employee culture
  • Understanding of profit and loss statements
  • Good selling skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good presentation skills
  • Driven to succeed
  • Knowledge of agriculture and construction equipment preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Without a higher education degree, 5 years of experience in agriculture and construction
  • Sales experience
  • Knowledge of business acumen

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 2 or 4-year business/ag/construction degree or 5 years of comparable business experience in agriculture and construction
  • General knowledge of Ag and Construction equipment
  • Understanding the financial status of the location, reports
